Re: Any experience here with the CURRENT Ruger 9mm carbines?

I run the Ruger PCC in Steel Challenge and made Master with it in six months. Runs very nice using whatever 9mm I happen to have on hand. Also shoot it in IDPA when we have our Carbine night. Made Master in that game with it also. I run a Burris Fastfire III on it as an optic. Stone stock , right ou...

Re: PSA on flying with a rifle case and TSA locks

I use my normal secure lock and when they want to look inside (always in MSP, never in RSW) they ask for the key. I open the case, they make sure the sidearm isn't loaded, and it gets closed up and sent on its merry way.

No lock cutting so far.

Re: I think I pissed off Fred Guttenberg

I recall seeing TV news coverage of FC events with guys carrying long guns, walking through a crowded farmer's market "on their way to go fishing." Those were most probably the guys doing the fishing thing much later than the original setup and most likely on their own. Every time there w...

Re: I think I pissed off Fred Guttenberg

The obsession with deliberately provocative open carry "fishing" events is why I dropped out of FC. The obsession with deliberately provocative open carry "fishing" events is why I'm still a member of FC. 8-) AD PS And long guns were never allowed at the FC fishing events.

OK, we're going to need a whole lot of details on this one.

Re: Trying Again, 22LR Pistol Recommendations?

An earlier post mentioned the Ruger Charger pistol. Excellent shooter, but not as a pistol. Put an SB brace on it (LOP less than 13.5 inches) and you've got an excellent rimfire rifle. The 13.5" is to keep it a brace and not a stock for the ATF guys who want to play semantics with recreational ...

Re: Trying Again, 22LR Pistol Recommendations?

Like most things, it depends on what you want to do with it. When we were looking to do the Steel Challege game with pistols we got a Ruger Lite for the lady (she loves the look of it) and a S&W Victory for me. I liked the heavier feel of the Victory. I shoot both of them equally well. They both...

Re: Pistol brace upgrade to SBR FREE!

Hmmm, a government run program where you "register" your SBR and send in a photo.

A few hundred million emails into the ATF.

Or does all this get snail mailed in?

What could possibly go wrong?
