A quick look at almost any firearms forum will find hundreds of posts......profusely illustrated, showing how easy it is to build at home...bragging how quickly an "untraceable" AR lower can be built with a jig and a router from Lowes.... Lack of "OPSEC" on our part has lead directly to this...... ...

The "cylinder catch" is referred to as the "bolt".....the part that indexes the cylinder is the "hand" When the hammer is cocked....to any position, a small protrusion on the side of the hammer raises the curved tail of the bolt at the same time it raises the hand......that drops the front of the bo...

I suppose it could be done with a dremel.....but taking your materials into consideration (Ti / SS), a mill would probably be better.

"Rusty" over at the F1 Suppressor board would clip them for you....he is an SOT and the guy who developed the DHC....
