Mouse guns

http://sepboard.us/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=105&p=448&hilit=Ammo+Armor#p448 If you like and/or carry a small caliber pistol/revolver, what is your favorite? I carry a Ruger LCP when around the house/neighborhood or dressed up (when a larger pistol isn't as easy to conceal). While I'd prefer to have my ...

Re: Carry pistol for wife

hey Dave, been away for a bit. The difference in the recoil is significant. There is nowhere near the hand slap that you get with the LC9 (the original LC9 is the only one I have shot). My wife hated the LC9 and would only reluctantly shoot the LCP. She is quite happy with the LC380, her biggest co...

Re: Chef with a tusk

I dunno, was he licensed to carry that Narwhale tusk? Was it under the legal length? What about PETA, I’m sure they have something to say about it.

In all seriousness though, good on him for clear thinking and making use of an improvised weapon. Deserves a medal.

Re: Facebook hypocrisy.

It's not LEO special privilege. It is liberal special privilege because it fits FB's anti-gun agenda i.e. the government buying back guns from private citizens rather than recognizing the 2A.

Re: Carry pistol for wife

Any chance that there is a range near you that rents handguns? Let her try several and ask HER what she feels comfortable with. Just a thought. Yeah, like I said a few times above, I wasn't just going to surprise her with something. We had been going out to different places and looking at different...

Re: Bought a SIG 365

Watched a video last night from Tim at the MAC. He was shooting the 365 SAS. My thoughts and the video here;

My apologies, I actually didn’t catch that part on the first go around. The instructor in me popped up too quick.

Re: Anyone Here Carry S.O.B?

I would never carry SOB. For the same reason I teach rookies not to put their cuffs or other equipment SOB on their duty belt. If you go down hard on your back (fight or slip) you can seriously mess up the small of your back if you impact on the holster/pistol over your spin.

Re: Bought a SIG 365

Yeah, I remember when the P365 first came out it was as high as $699. So with all the FFL, tax, background and whatever, some/many folks paid over $700 for the pistol to the be the first kid on the block with the new toy. And of course the 365 (and now the Hellcat) had initial problems for a lot of ...
