Re: Membership

Not sure how it works on the mods end, but are these being banned by name? by IP? Done on all of them by IP. The problem is that they use people computers controlled by the millions of malware in service right now and that is a lost battle. You should see the dozens I remove in the background. Also...

Re: Bought a SIG 365

...It is a pistol that I would like to like. But I'm going to give it a while longer to see if the early issues have indeed been fully resolved... I am pretty much in the same boat. For me it's not even about the gun having some teething issues (a lot of new designs do), it's about Sig's way of add...

Re: Lots of LE agencies dumping 40 S&W.

From a big picture perspective, a Glock 22 is much better than a Glock 17 as an example. Why? Well with a G17 I can shoot 9mm....and that's it. With a G22 I can shoot .40, .357sig or 9mm with the simply change of a barrel. I like options like that! I've never tried .357, but I've shot .40 out of a ...

Re: Anyone carry pepper spray in their cars? Just 'cause

I just tested mine and it works just like the day I bought it. I noticed that the expiration date is 1/21. I thought I read on Amazon that expiration was 4 years and I know I've had it in the truck for at least three. I saw a small drop below the nozzle and gave it a sniff. I could feel my lungs tr...

Re: Anyone carry pepper spray in their cars? Just 'cause

Having a non-lethal option is a good option. Just be careful leaving a can of OC spray in the vehicle during the summer. I had a can burst an O-ring once. It was contained in the center console but still made a mess. Damn, I hope that won't happen. Fortunately, at work I park in the shade, but not ...

Re: Anyone carry pepper spray in their cars? Just 'cause

Mines been banging around in my truck for 4 years without exploding. Maybe I need to test it again. It might not even work. I'd definitely test it. The contents don't go bad but the O-ring will give out eventually and leak out the propellant. Their inexpensive enough to replace annually. Sabre is a...

Re: FL Carry suing Miami Beach

The issue I see with L.E. is that most understand their authority but not their responsibilities. For example, Sheriff's Offices are the only L.E. agencies set up by Constitutional authority. All other entities are set up my Federal, State or local statute to include FBI, Police departments, etc. Wh...

Re: FL Carry suing Miami Beach

It's amazing what the proper show of force can accomplish. Glad that situation worked out favorably for you both. I was in uniform but driving my POV a few years ago. A guy went road rage on me and actually stopped his truck in the middle of the road to block me. He didn't know beforehand but quickl...

Re: Florida #1

I cannot speak to the absolute accuracy, however;

W - is for a non law enforcement
WX or WY - When they run out of W numbers, they use WX or WY
WJ - Is for a Judge
WC - would be for a consulate or diplomatic type license
