Re: Was there legal way to carry weapon before state license?

Here's the link to a good article by Jon Gutmacher - although not the one I was referencing. https://www.floridafirearmslaw.com/understanding-florida-statute-790-25-the-exceptions-to-open-concealed-carry/ In 1941 there was no F.S. 790.25, and there wasn’t a concern about open carry – at least as to ...

Re: Was there legal way to carry weapon before state license?

I read somewhere that the first “carry license” statute in Florida was enacted in the late 1800’s and was only good in the issuing county. I think it mandated open carry, though (imagine that.) Before then, carrying for self defense was pretty much considered normal and natural (as it should be) and...

Re: Chop Going Down

Two days after the big announcement, and I'm still waiting. They're still "cajoling" them...give it time. Good cajoling doesn't happen overnight. Yeah - it's not like they can pull up a tanker truck full of decaf vegan lattes and start serving up. They've got to froth that coconut milk one c...

Re: Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day. My dad gave me a copy of this poem when I struck out on my own: If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by w...

Re: Nancy Pelosi want's all statues of previous Speakers of the House who were in the CSA removed

In her rush to suck up to BLM, Nancy may have failed to realize that all four of the former House Speakers whose portraits she is removing because, as she says: "There is no room in the hallowed halls of Congress or in any place of honor for memorializing men who embody the violent bigotry and grote...

Shot the mosin yesterday.
It was battle accurate but could be more if the trigger is improved. Very stiff.

Re: Mosin nagant 91/30

One of the coolest Finn marked guns was a British Boys anti-tank gun.. England gave Finland 2-400 of them when they were a neutral and not an Ally to Germany. And what is neat is most of the Boys guns out there on the surplus market are from those Finnish shipments. Also a plus to the Finn Boys gun...

Re: Mosin nagant 91/30

I used to collect the Finnish variants. There was something so cool about little old Finland standing up to big bad Russia and taking captured rifles, improving them, and them turning them back against their former owners. Finns were bad ass - wolverines on skis. A dozen years or so ago, I picked up...

Link says "Video Unavailable - This Video is Private" ?

YouTube censorship again - must not fit the desired narrative.

Just makes me want to find it & watch that much more.

Re: Man these riots sure have open my mind

Let the idiot progressives and their lapdog media and pandering politicians rant and rave about defunding and disbanding police forces - know what that does for us? A lot. Just like the old saying, "there are no atheists in foxholes," there are no law abiding citizens who oppose the Second Amendment...
