Re: Gun Show Loophole closed? What does it mean?
I think ATF will get its peepee slapped on this one too. Just might take awhile. Just like they did on the "braced pistols are now SBR's" rule And the "FRT triggers are now machineguns" rule And the "anything that looks like a gun is now a receiver" rule. Congress (real...

Help me find a SBS host
Looking into a SBS, purely for funsies, zero practical reasons. A standard 870 can get me down to 12.5" but I'd like to be shorter than that. Ideally, 10" is probably the longest I'd want to go. The special field can probably get me around 10.5 but theyre expensive. The bonus would be that...

Re: Suppressor walk-off question
How you like that PPK/s?
I almost bought one a year or so back but ended up getting a M&P Compact 22 instead. Still kinda want one though.
Runs good? Have you tried subs in it?

Remington "Special Field" Alternatives
Have an itch for a SBS....purely for funsies. I've been looking into the Rem "Special Field" pumps, basically an 870 but with a slightly shorter magazine tube, and a barrel lug closer to the receiver than a standard 870.l Looks like one of those could be chopped down and get me around 10.5...

Glad you got it resolved. 15 months is ridiculous.

Re: What's the consensus on AKs MANUFACTERED by Atlantic Firearms?
Out of extreme boredom while drinking my morning coffee I gave it some thought. Trunnion - New Production Forged Polish Import $89 Bolt - New Production Forged Polish Import $79 Bolt Carrier (Body) - New Production Polish Import $79 Piston - Chrome ($8-$20 depending on config) Recoil Assy - $15 Barr...

Re: What's the consensus on AKs MANUFACTERED by Atlantic Firearms?
I guess you'd have to define "comparable build". It's mostly American made. The core imported parts used are used Romanian (arguably the least desirable of any of the AK74 variants on the planet). For $1700 you could have something similar, identical, or in my opinion better built using be...

Re: What's the consensus on AKs MANUFACTERED by Atlantic Firearms?
$1700 is brutal for a 50% USA made AK, but if money is no object I'd imagine it's a fine gun. https://i.imgur.com/gI0WEPG.png?1 The JMAC front sight is $100 ish, dunno about their rear trunnion. Figure the receiver from Childers is around $100, and the barrel is American and OOS at JMAC so unsure of...
