Re: $249 Chinese SKS @ Centerfire Systems

Even at 249 they are still ruff looking. https://i.imgur.com/CyYeac0.jpg Its really just the stocks, at least on the ones I ordered. The metal, and bore, were in pretty good shape. Had trim a crossbolt and open up the RSB area of a commercial chinese stock to fit, but it ended up working out.

Re: Poor Man's Galil ARM (7.62x39mm / Stamped Receiver)

Wish I still had some kits too from back in the day.

Hindsight being 20/20 , I'd have bought pallets of those G kits, and AMD kits when they were $75

Re: Poor Man's Galil ARM (7.62x39mm / Stamped Receiver)

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I just couldn't bring myself to drop $400-$600 on a milled receiver for it, my inner "cheap bastard" wasn't having it :D

Poor Man's Galil ARM (7.62x39mm / Stamped Receiver)

Always though the Israeli Galil was a neat gun. When APEX had their Black Friday deals I grabbed one of their fair/poor condition Galil ARM kits. https://i.imgur.com/DRfbDZX.jpg I'm not a big 223 / 5.56 guy , and the milled receivers for these are $$$ pricey. There wasn't any stubs with the Apex kit...

Re: Mouse guns

I love mouse guns. During summer/Motorcycle season back up North (all 2 months of the year lol) I carried a FIE Titan 25, or a Ladysmith. I think "mouse gun" and stuff like the 950, 21A , or even little Galesi, FIE Titan/Excam Gt27 or the Baby Browning , Colt 1908VP come to mind. 22, 25, maybe Tomca...

Re: Bond Arms... Wish I'd avoided them

What good is a warranty if they charge you $75 for a firing pin... not the original owner, can't expect them to lose money forever So at that point, then there is no warranty to worry about voiding, right? They said him taking it to a gunsmith would void the warranty, if the warranty doesn't extend...

Re: Bond Arms... Wish I'd avoided them

Damn. Whats the pin look like? Maybe you can make one.

I've been eyeballing one in 410 for a long time, but they're pricey IMO.
