Re: Mouse guns

I love mouse guns. During summer/Motorcycle season back up North (all 2 months of the year lol) I carried a FIE Titan 25, or a Ladysmith. I think "mouse gun" and stuff like the 950, 21A , or even little Galesi, FIE Titan/Excam Gt27 or the Baby Browning , Colt 1908VP come to mind. 22, 25, maybe Tomca...

Re: Bond Arms... Wish I'd avoided them

What good is a warranty if they charge you $75 for a firing pin... not the original owner, can't expect them to lose money forever So at that point, then there is no warranty to worry about voiding, right? They said him taking it to a gunsmith would void the warranty, if the warranty doesn't extend...

Re: Bond Arms... Wish I'd avoided them

Damn. Whats the pin look like? Maybe you can make one.

I've been eyeballing one in 410 for a long time, but they're pricey IMO.

Re: AK builders in Florida?

FWIW , these "kits" from classic very closely resemble the old Clinton Ban-Era single stack SA-2000m's https://i.imgur.com/AHUBwHZ.jpg The nice thing about building from a kit is your'e not forced to go with what it is. When AMD kits were $60 back in the day, a lot of them were built as pistols. htt...

Re: AK builders in Florida?

You said it. Classic used to sell those kits all day long, buy 5 for a discount. You used to be able to get the kit and 922r parts for under $200 including a flat, and end up with a nice AK. Now that same build will cost you triple that...for a Romy G. Then you'd go take it shooting for $79/1000 ro...

Re: AK builders in Florida?

My point is that I don't want to spend that kind of money right now on a build...I didn't say it wasn't a fair price. I miss the days of AK build parties when a bunch of guys would get together and bang out builds in someone's shop or garage. Those days are long gone. Indeed. Its sad. But the golde...

You buy a Galil kit or working on stuff you've had?
Got a Galil ARM kit, but going to build it up as a 7.62x39mm Galil on a stamped receiver. Making the angle in the front will be tricky but I have a few ideas on how to form it.
