Re: Private Indoor Home Gun Range | Luxury Shooting

I know a guy who has a 5 lane 20 yards indoor range at his house in S. FL. It's in his house with about half of the range underground and half above ground. It was about 25 feet wide and 75 feet long and 8+ feet high and was almost the entire length of one side of the house. It was a separate struct...

Re: Recommendation for Trap and Sporting Clays

Most Turkish O/U are good quality for the money. I've never seen any Turkish shotgun not function correctly except a Stevens 555 which I think is made in Turkey.

Re: The little .40 Caliber Pistol that could...

Unlike 1st and some 2nd generations Smith auto pistols, 3rd generation were great pistols...as good or even better than many European Wonder 9's pistols the period. I had a 3913 compact and 3903 service size pistols from that era and they were both worked perfectly. The 3913 I had was one of the mos...

Got A Perfect New Beretta 92FS For Me

I always loved Beretta 92F series pistol since the first Lethal Weapon movie came out in late 80's. I purchased my first Beretta 92F pistol in 1990 and loved that pistol but I couldn't hit anything with it in DA due to the long trigger reach, large grip and heavy DA trigger pull. I ended up selling ...

Re: The Lowly Pump Shotgun isn't so Lowly anymore. They are in hot demand & here's the Gunbroker sales.

I know I'm in the minority because everybody prefers AR these days but my one and only home defense long gun out of the safe for past 20+ years is a simple 870 with 18" barrel. Only upgrade is a mounted light and side saddle. Kept loaded with 3 rounds of #4 Federal Tactical Buckshot plus 4 rounds of...

Re: The Battle of the American .45 ACP Pistols, late 80s to early 90s edition.

Around 1986 I purchased a used 645 from a friend. It was a huge pistol and had terrible ergonomics for my hands. It shot okay but it never felt good in my hand so I sold it off. 4506 felt better in my hand but by then I discovered Sig 220 and it was my preferred SA/DA 45 ACP pistol. I picked up a Co...

Re: Steel Targets

I got most of my AR500 targets from Amazon. They occasionally have sale on 6 piece sets with free shipping for about $50.
Get the 1/2" so you can hang them to swing and you can shoot them with most rifle calibers.

Re: Do you like Miami Vice and Guns? Then step right in!

I had the 645 for a while but sold it off as it had all the ergonomics of a 2x4 in my hand...same with their 59 series 9mm pistols.
I liked the 3rd gen 4506 a little more but still didn't like it enough to buy one as the Sig 220 and 1911 felt much better in my hand.

Re: >Reliable< 380 pocket pistol

I currently have a Ruger LCP II that has been 100% reliable with about 500 rounds of various factory ball and JHP ammo...not one failure of any kind. I also have a Bersa Thunder in 380 ACP that has been 100% reliable with about 700 rounds of various factory ball and JHP ammo. In past I had a FEG PMK...

I'm in same situation as you right now.
I'm taking my family to Pine Island for a week.
Kids and I can fish everyday.
