Re: Cruise suggestions???
My family has been taking 8 or 9 days Thanksgiving cruise for past 7 years and we've had great time on Carnival ships. Two or three years ago we went on 8 days Royal Caribbean and had terrible service. Long trips usually means new or newer ships and usually more experienced staff. Short trips usuall...

Re: Red dot on a ruger super Blackhawk pistol
Back in 1996 I mounted a Tasco PDP3 on my Ruger Super Redhawk using Ruger 30mm rings. Back at that time it was a $180 scope. I used it on that revolver for about 8 years to shoot 1,000+ rounds of 44 magnum +P loads of 310gr @ 1,350+ fps along with many regular 44 magnum loads. I never had any proble...

Self/Home Defense Ammo For AR Pistol
So I want to keep my AR pistol with 10 1/2" barrel for self/home defense. Any recommendation of what ammo to use? I don't think FMJ.ball ammo like M193 or M855 would be idea as penetration would be excessive and I don't expect yawl or break up with M193 ammo from slower velocity. Maybe 45-50gr ...

They just voted to increased property tax here to improve school security.

Are LEO required to respond to an emergency while off duty?
Are LEO who is off duty on a day off required to respond to emergency? Lets say you are having a meal with your wife on your day off and you hear on the restaurant TV that there is an active shooter at the local school which is within quick driving distance. As a LEO are you required to respond to t...

Re: Brazil's version of Trump says "F#@$ You to Gun Control"
Last time I was in Brazil it seemed like everybody had couple handguns plus one or two shotguns at home.
Everything was kept loaded.

Re: What's your "Holy Grail" Firearm?
At this point in my life I don't have a "Holy Grail" gun. I've been very fortunate to have owned and/or played with pretty much everything I wanted up to now. I've owned some cool and interesting guns...and I shoot everything I own. I got to shoot 3,000+ rounds through couple different H&a...
