Re: I voted... (in 2020)

Dropped my mail in ballot at the St Pete office. In and out no problems. Small line for early voters with more people outside canvassing than voting.

Seemed much quieter this time than 2018.

Re: Open primaries on the ballot

The need for these amendments is the continued failure of the legislature to address the issues. Reps answer to parties, not the people. Parties answer to the lobbies that fund them. People are lazy and do not hold reps accountable, nor do they do legitimate research on the issues by which to hold t...

Re: Open primaries on the ballot

In Pinellas, the registered voters are roughly 1/3 Democrat, 1/3 Republican, and 1/3 Independent/NPA. I wonder how many are declared party just because of closed primaries. Hopefully this will pass.

Re: Where do you guys get decent 5 gallon gas cans?

Following. The Midwest cans are pure junk (the poly cans at Harbor Freight), and not just because of the California pour spouts. I bought two of them and the cap rings that hold the spout/cap in place split on both cans in under a year. Midwest has never responded to inquiries about this, but will s...

Re: Spectrum

I switched from Spectrum to WOW. Way better quality, better service, and better pricing. Wife calls them every year on our anniversary date and they renew our contract at the introductory rate (1 yr contract).

eta: I just have internet though. Cut the cable back in '09 (cause Spectrum sucks here)

Re: The Idiot (me) got his lost wallet back!

I swear to God I can go back in an hour and they are gone. She moved them I wish we had a head banging emoji :P I'll tear the...

Re: Carry pistol for wife

hey Dave, been away for a bit. The difference in the recoil is significant. There is nowhere near the hand slap that you get with the LC9 (the original LC9 is the only one I have shot). My wife hated the LC9 and would only reluctantly shoot the LCP. She is quite happy with the LC380, her biggest com...
