Re: Vote By Mail

In a couple months, this whole virus thing should have calmed down. By July or so, things should be back to normal, so there will be no reason to not vote in person come November. Voting by mail is stupid. Look at the problems and issues our service people have had in the past voting by mail. That a...

Re: State of Emergency

The Melbourne Show was canceled because Brevard Emergency Services has the Melbourne Auditorium designated as a Emergency Command Center.
It had nothing to do with any "State of Emergency" declaration.

Re: Fatal BB gun wound in FL

Bet it was a pellet gun, nor a BB gun.
Yes, a BB in the eye penetrating into the brain can kill; but severing the brain stem, I find that hard to believe.

My question is: Just why was the kid not trained in firearm safety?
Oh, I know: Guns are bad, and kids should not be taught anything about them.

Re: Is a stripped AR lower a gun?

When dealing with an AR15, the lower receiver is the "Controlled" component, thus it is the serial numbered part. Any time you buy a completed AR15 lower receiver, you are in effect buying a firearm, and it must go through an FFL if it is a new lower receiver. It is a totally different story in most...

Re: How Is This Not A Machine Gun?

Maybe: Two triggers, each fire only one shot when pulled. But the second trigger shown in the photo could just be a Glock like safety. There have been a number of firearms put on the market over the last ten years or so, that really skirt the definition of a Machine Gun and/or a Short Barreled Rifle...

Re: Crowds All Over Country Gather To Protest Trump!

Funny, but on Monday I saw a fair number of Pro-Trump people out at the intersection of State Road 520 and Courtney Parkway here on Merritt Island.
One guy had a big sign that said "Should be Impeaching Congress"

Re: What are the issues with moving to another state with NFA weapon?

Can not say for Oregon, as I do not know their state laws concerning NFA items. When I moved from Florida to Mississippi, I filled out a ATF form that notified the ATF of a permanent change of state address for my NFA items. Nothing was required by Mississippi, as NFA items are legal there if regist...
