Re: Who carries appendix

That is not the only type of holster in which a striker-fired pistol has discharged without intent. And you are making an assumption that another brand of holster would have made a difference. It is a fact however that a manual thumb safety would have prevented a discharge. A manual safety offers N...

Re: Self/Home Defense Ammo For AR Pistol

I've found no reason to not use Mk262 or its clones in any defensive role.

At 17" long I can't think of any spring, other than a shotgun tube spring, that it could be.

Re: Extra magazines for semi autos

Yes, I normally carry spare magazine(s). It really depends on the gun and it is mostly to balance out the weight on my belt. I normally carry in either a JM Custom Kydex AIWB mag pouch or a BAWIDAMANN Vertical mag pouch.

I have a JM Custom Kydex for a G19 w/TLR8.

Personally, I deactivated the laser and just use the light on mine. I got it at a really good price when they first came out and TLR7 was harder to find.

I would recommend the TLR7/8 without hesitation.

Re: What is your EDC?

I carry a P229R, forward of hip/AIWB.

The G19/G26 is really hard to beat as a "I own 1 pistol" pistol. I'm not sure I'd want a micro compact or sub compact as my "go to" handgun.
