Re: M-1 Carbine Price From 1965
I remember dad got his around that time also. It had a ratty stock with names of a few places in the pacific to this day that don't ring a bell. Dad replaced the stock with a walnut monte carlo one and we shot it for years when I lived at home. After dad passed I put a USGI hi wood stock on her and...

Put down the PC Guess which section has the line to wait for an available spot? It’s not the book, or DVD section . GARY My point exactly ! Using a PC is great, I use mine everyday. I did find that even when I google a subject I end up drifting off of topic and looking up other things. With a &qu...

Learn to reload. I never bought any ammo for my M1s. It's the best way to get optimum accuracy for any rifle and save a few bucks too.lakelandman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 2:44 pm As much as I love to have one the price is just to high and the ammo as well so I went with M1A.

Re: Why all the M1 Garand love?
I have owned 7 different Garands of Wll but 3 were as accurate as a previous poster mentioned. After about 28 years I only have one left, the others were sold to finance other endeavours. I still regret it. Anyways I too get the nostalgic feelings when I hold a Garand and look down the sights. I loo...

Re: M14 / M1A
Apparently you have never owned a quality FAL or L1A1 Belgian or Aussie. I owned 2 STG58s. Great top of the line rifles but not like my M14s. I worked up loads for both of them , never got the accuracy out of either. I used my M14s in all the HP matches I shot. I saw quite a few M14s, lots of ARs b...

I gotta dust off my old Polytech one of these days, I don't think I've shot it in 10+ years. You best get her out soon or you'll have to pop that cherry again if ya don't !!! Run an greasy swab down her barrel, hit her with some grease and go get her hot again. It will all come back to yo...

why the rush to push through a life time appointment? seriously -- why not fully vet this guy before giving him a life time gig? this is a serious question. i'm genuinely curious. I don't recall ANYONE giving this guy a FULL VETTING prior to him running for the POTUS gig and the last time I looked ...
