Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Maduro. Padron has some good box pressed cigars.
That was my weekly cigar on the golf course back when I played. I’ve moved to the Arturo Fuente 858 maduro as it’s the perfect length for dog walks.

Re: Beretta is a POS, part II

Thats a sweet beretta for sure. Dunno though, maybe I'm weird. I actually prefer the Taurus 92's and the safety on the frame. You know, I never noticed that the 92X picture above had a frame mounted "safety". It might just be a decocker tho. Edited to add: Nope, the 92X Performance is a frame mount...

Re: The return of the Colt Python

I 100% agree with you on the grips. It absolutely looks like a layered wood laminate. Searching for grips already but also seeing a lot of people pushing potential Thailand clones as original grips.

Re: Eye surgery

Some people can not tolerate mono vision (where one eye is set for distance and one set for reading). They asked my dad if he wanted it and I said no, he’ll wear reading glasses but I want him to not need corrective eyewear when driving. My girlfriend had lasik 17 years ago and resulted in several y...

Re: Eye surgery

Took my dad to do his left eye and 3 weeks later his right eye about 4 months ago. He opted for the more expensive laser surgery as opposed to the traditional knife. It healed very nicely and he was able be almost normal a week after surgery. The State made him do it in order for him to keep his FL ...

Re: The return of the Colt Python

Yeah, well I didn’t see anything wrong with the workmanship as some people have had and the lock work is in perfect timing. So maybe (knock on wood) if I ever find a bunch of ammo, I’ll run it and see.

Re: The return of the Colt Python

Reviving an old thread, .... I bought a new Python today! Yes, I paid more than MSRP, but it was there at my LGS and very minty as no one had touched it and it's been on my short list since they announced it. Playing with the trigger, it was nice and crisp, but maybe needs a little attention as it i...

I thought Florida banned binary triggers, bump stocks and any trigger that increased the rate of fire. Honest question
They did. Rare breed might be based in FL but they can’t sell them to someone in the state without an valid exception.

Re: New FBI priority target: fake vax card holders

I keep hearing that 25% of health care workers are unvaccinated. That surprises me because: 1. They had first access to the vaccine 2. They have more likely seen the effects of COVID I have a cousin that was part of the research team for one one the manufacturers and she told me back in January that...

Re: St. Augustine things to do

Years back our friends lived in Jax and they dragged us to the Alligator Farm which the kids liked. Feeding time was pretty cool to watch. We also visited the fort which is impressive.
