Concerning the problem of deleting private messages, I just created a brand new forum on one of my domains and the error wasn't present. Over the weekend, I will try something, but it will require me to shut down the forum. I will try to do this at a less problematic time for you guys. I'll keep you posted but if the forum isn't available, it is because I am working on it.

Re: sharing CWP and driver's license risk
NO risk at all, but a damn good idea My son has to deal with a court proceeding right now where he sold a firearm ( in his name ) to some old co-worker, ( US citizen, of age, all legal to the best of his knowledge ) , this back in 2016 so he couldn't remember the guys name, who probably sold it to ...

Re: sharing CWP and driver's license risk
Hell, I might have even began giving bogus SSNs and DOB to Dr's office after the last ID theft  . I actually did that once. Not 30 seconds after handing in the info at my doctor they said “Sir, the number isn’t correct. Would you like to verify your info”. Somehow they knew, & that was my firs...

Re: sharing CWP and driver's license risk
Some people do just do FFL transactions--it takes all kinds. The problem with that is since gun sales are so brisk, background checks have been taking 3+ hours. A few weeks ago, at Ira’s booth, some people had been waiting for hours. So his wife Joanne called the FDLE at 4 PM to ask what’s the prob...

Re: sharing CWP and driver's license risk
At the shows, plenty of people with a CCW still get a “non approval” on their background check. But most get cleared up within a few days. Even LE gets non approvals.AirForceShooter wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 8:14 amCCW pretty much proves the buyer isn't a prohibited person.

Re: Glock armorer recommendation in Broward?
I know several of the Glock armorers from the various shows, & Ollie is definitely the best. Heck, I’m in WPB 17 years now, but still have my 954 number. At the Miami shows he’s usually right next to the SS tables. GARY.

Re: Glock armorer recommendation in Broward?
His name is Ollie. He does most of the gun shows in the Tri County area, but I don’t know where he lives. 305-252-7422. Ollie is the best. GARY.

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I understand. But sometimes life is a compromise. On one hand you have ranges that will not allow steel case ammo, or any ammo you didn’t buy from them that day. On the other hand you have range Nazi’s that will allow that ammo. Please post here the range that allows him to shoot his ammo so we can ...

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I only work shows now, but when I worked at the stores, all ammo was inspected before being allowed on the range. So I would tell your friend to be prepared to buy ammo that is “range friendly”. Try calling the local ranges, & asking them what their current policy is. GARY.

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I have worked at several gun store/ranges where steel cased ammo is not allowed. It has nothing to do with safety, but has to do with the empty cases that are swept up off the floor. The stores sell the empty cases to recyclers who do not want steel in their brass. In many cases the brass is melted,...
