Re: Out of Stock! - Should I wait?

I very recently was looking for a P365XL and of course none to b found. So I say to the guy behind the counter “think the gunmakers would pick up the pace and get some guns delivered”. His same response as above..”it’s the distributors holding out for elections in case Biden wins they could get 30% ...

Re: S&W model 60 and +p

Thanks man, that info solidified my thoughts, much appreciated. I feel confident enough that a +P round or two would be OK. I also feel confident enough that today’s 38 special hollow points should be enough to do the job but I needed someone else’s thoughts on the matter. Mav

S&W model 60 and +p

I recently called Smith&Wesson regarding the use of plus PMO in my model 60 which dates back about 26 years. I’m trying to figure out why I shouldnt shoot +P also but they say no and were kind of vague in the answer. It must have something to do with the internals because when you compare the model ...

S&W mod 60, about 35 years ago living in S FLA. It’s not my everyday carry but certainly a safe go to gun as needed.

Re: Anyone do the Ocala show at the Country Club?

There is been three or four of them there this summer. I went to the first one they had and it is a very small venue but I did score some 45 ACP in a very decent price and there were some vendors there with some decent prices but again it’s very small. No I didn’t go to the last one they had a mont...

Re: SIG P365 SAS Opinions?

The only piece I’ve ever appreciated porting on is a 5” S&W 44Magnum. It had one large port at the end and top of the barrel and helped w control some. But as far as a self defense pistol porting is a detriment. Gases, glare, and burning powders are not nice in the face. I was interested in the SAS ...

Re: A Floridian For 31 Years

A few years after NAM (73) I came from CT to F L A. Drove to Jax then across to Dunedin for a swim. There was nothing there on that part of the beach, just beach. Real nice. Stayed for a time then on to Miami. Never to go back to CT except to see family. On a side note, CT was a different culture ba...

I enlisted at 17 and it was a great experience. Honestly I think the U.S should have a 1 year Government service requirement like Israel. A lot of people would be better for it (IMO)
+1, Graduated in June of 65, enlisted in Sept at 17.
