Why I voted for Ron Paul.

Postby g.willikers » Sat Feb 04, 2012 2:34 pm

Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate that understands the evil of big, centralized government.
And it's like the saying, Build it and they will come.
Build big government and the power hungry psychos will, indeed, come.
They will come out of the political woodwork, just like the termites.
And in the end, they will leave nothing standing, either.
Just like Hitler, Stalin, Nero and all the rest.
That's why I vote for Ron Paul.
So, I will start a thread with this.

I voted for him because he's the only honest man in this race.
He understand the real dangers that menace our country and our liberties.
He cares for us and our future.
He will try to get us back all our lost liberties long time gone.
He will not start wars on rumors and faulty intelligence, we would go to war only with a DOW from Congress.
He's not perfect and does not try to sell you he is.
He's not a liar and hypocrite.
Even if he doesn't win the nomination his ideas have been planted in the mind and hearts of many people that will continue the fight.
Death solves all problems, no man, no problem. Joseph Stalin

He didn't have an agenda. He doesn't owe anyone anything. His interest was the American People. He's moral and ethical. He's pro-constitution, especially the 2nd.

I voted for Paul because the only credible threat to our economy and national security is the erosion of civil liberties and Paul is the only candidate who seriously intends to restore our freedom.

+1 the last two replies, I voted for the same reason for Paul

I voted for Mitt Romney because voting for anyone else is:

A. A waste of time because nobody else electible is running, thanks to the decent Conservatives sitting this one out.

B. Really a vote for another 4 years for Obama, who probably sits down in front of the TV with chips, dip and beer every time there's another Republican debate.
I swear by Jupiter Optimus Maximus .... in the army of the consul Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus and for 10 miles around it I will not steal anything worth more than a sestertius in any one day.

Our fathers handed us a country built upon the predication that equality is self-evident. We are their children and if equality is self-evident, we owe them the absolute respect to discover the answer(s) to the question(s) they left us.

The only thing Romney has the potential to win is the Republican primary, we're getting another 4 years of Obama.

I voted for Ron Paul because he is the only candidate who puts "We The People"'s interests before his own.

I've also happened to be born and raised and lived third of my life under communist rule, and I'm not looking forward to it happening again, in the USA.
