there's a couple different styles of magazines for different .223 AKs. What kind of gun do you have and do you want surplus mags or US made?

What's an AM mag ?? [smilie=011.gif]
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

It is for morning use only. After 12 you need a PM mag.

This is what i use in my Arsenal SLR, but you will need minor fitting to make it work with a SAR-3. Real SAR-3 mags (Weiger mags) are hard to find and always super expensive.

Promag makes a mag too, but when i did my research before buying 10 mags, i decided the Bulgarian "Circle 10" mags were the way to go, as they seemed to be more reliable, stronger, and only a little more espensive.

This was one of the reasons i decided to get the Bulgarian .223 AK instead of an older Chinese or Romanian. There's plenty of factory mags for the Bulgarians but mags are hard to find for the Chinese and Romanians.

But if you don't care about high-cap, Century has factory 10 rounders in stock for $7

What quality level are you looking for?
Tapco mags are usually like $15 a piece, but can deliver mixed results.
For a 5.56 AK, you should be able to use Galil mags or at least make them fit.

I have 6 bulgarian circle 10s (clear smoked plastic) and 4 Metal German Rieger Mags.

The Circle10s have been great. They don't have the metal reinforcing tabs or lips but I haven't had any issues, AND I keep them loaded.
The money will go into channels which will carry it, not to the most productive, but to the most corrupt. By the standards of our time, the man who has the least to offer is the man who wins.
