Tires in general have seen price increases over 40% in the last few years, you would probably be surprised just how much oil goes into one tire. Do you not have access to a wholesale account through your work?

Just an update on this ^^. My last order was last February from Discount Tire & I got the refund/replacement certificate. The other night I had a valve stem fail, which caused the tire to go flat. Couldn't feel any vibration or swaying (I was riding in the bed of the truck and couldn't even tell) and didn't notice until I got home. Long story short, there was an 1/8" deep grove in the sidewall from driving on the flat.

Called up DTD and told them what happened and they are sending me out a tire for free. All I had to do was buy another replacement certificate for the new tire for $11.50. They don't even want to have the tire old tire shipped back /:f
