I smiled at a picture of a police car with bullet holes in it. Wakkoss took it wrong and called me a pedophile on an open forum (FSN), then he sent a PM to a member who told him that he went too far, telling him that being called a pedophile should not be a worry to me as he would punch me in my damn French nose when I would meet him.

Nice from you trying to put it all on me though so it looks like a vendetta from me. Oh and if you don't believe it, I still have it all in screen copy and the PM report is still open for all the mods to see.

I do agree that he went to far, I do agree that he shouldnt have lied about it, and i do know that he feels really shitty for lying to Jeremy and Sal, and i do know that Ive known him for a long time and I even after this kiddie shit that I havent lost one ounce of trust in him. He Also sent apology emails to Moe, Jeremy, and Sal and nobody had the decency to even respond.

Jon forwarded the email to saying WTF because he thought Moe was being a douche, as Moe stated in his first post. Next, you can try to bring down his credibility to but some of know him as well and will also quickly DISAGREE with you

Ed, why the f*%! are you bringing the other people into this? I've tried to keep this from getting overblown but you seem to have a hard-on for really stirring the pot. We all know you two are buddy buddy but enough already. Maybe the others didn't respond to him because they felt he took advantage of them. I don't know and I don't care. You aren't doing a damn thing to help restore his credibility so why don't you just back off before you make things worse.

Moe im not trying to make things worse. Ive spoken to him about this many times and i'm simply stating that he feels really shitty for what he did to the mods on this forum, so how am i stirring the pot? HE DID take advantage but Im not trying to make things worse by any means. If you read my posts you will see that I dont agree with what he did, but he could have at least gotten an email back. He deserves a suspension and he says it himself. I just dont see why Legio can poke the stick and nobody says jack shit to him?

ETA: Wakkos was suspended long before anyone from FSN even contacted him to get his side of it, long before anything was denied. Lets not cloud the issue by suggesting the suspension had anything to do with his denying involvement in the prank, since it occurred well before that even happened. Is was suspicion alone that got his account locked.

Jon, enough with the excuses. I have all the emails saved. Everything happened within 2-3 days. There was never any "long before" involved here. And if you didn't understand why it involves FSN then read my posts again.

Poking the stick? I have said a few times in this thread not to push it because it would shed a bad light on wakkoss. But no, you could not let it go. Now, you don't want to get into it with Moe so why not put it all on the f*%! French that does not like him anyway (and for the wrong reasons as far as your memory goes).

FYI, I never pushed in any direction in that matter, but for the record, he did a shitty thing to Moe and betrayed Sal. That shows the man's character. I also do believe that he pushed his other friends for this thread to be opened to stir some shit. Now, if asked, I will vote for a permanent ban. Is this vengeful enough for you now?

Is a shame that stuff like this happens here.
I'm sure that Ian had no ill intent on what he did and in the mean time he has learned not to do it again.
We are part of one of the best if not the best gun forum out there and the mods here are top of the line.
I wish that we could put this behind us and continue enjoying coming here everyday.
My opinion is that if Ian has apologized and rectified his error he should get the chance of doing it here publicly and his suspension shortened. :ber

In regards to his "pushing his friends for this thread" , it was never the case with me, he actually asked me to hold back and not post about it twice. He does feel bad , he made a mistake and knows it now. Let this thing end, let him do his time and lets move on.

For the record, I first learned of this thread after logging onto the site and seeing it already 4 pages long. I felt like involving myself without any outside influence from wakkoss or anybody else. I think all parties have taken it too far and need to reel themselves back in.

It seems the prudent course of action would have been for the mods to lock this thing early on, then delete any other postings about it. Time heals all wounds.

I contacted him last week when I realized he had not posted in a long time and wasn't showing up as a member. I told him before I called him I had thought about starting a post asking what happened he asked me not to get involved.
The only opinion I will share on this whole mess is I don't think the MODS should let their anger over the posts made here influence their decision on his fate.
