I know gun sales are a record high due to the economy and the World affairs. I was curious on what was selling and there is a feature on gunbroker.com that shows completed sales on whatever gun you want to know about. I checked AR's, AK's, SKS and 1911 pistols. Would you believe there was hardly any sales that did not close with no sale or hardly any bids. I am curios on what is selling?

They're all selling... unfortunatley gunbroker sellers sometimes ask a premium so they end up having to list their firearms multiple times until they find a sucker.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I read "I am curios on what is selling"...

naw i cant spells anymore, May-b we grew up in da same trailor park?

I am 57 and getting slow so why would i be called a troll by asking what is the best selling guns?

We get threads from newbies from time to time asking questions on topics which have us raising an eyebrow ......... this is one of those threads.

Some of our members take little time expressing there concerns.

A lot of the Gunbroker auctions are just trolling for suckers because its dirt cheap to relist. All that counts are the ones that are completed with a sale, so if you want to find out what's selling, sign in and go to advanced search and click on the ":completed items" tab near the top, then enter the overall firearm type/model and category firearms.

You tell us what's selling and then ask what's sell? You refer to GB as gunbroker.com like we don't know the addy. If it posts like a troll, replys like a troll....well it's probably a troll.

This subject, of what is selling and what is not, has been a popular topic on most of the forums and podcasts, especially the recent ones from the Shot Show.
Michael Bane has talked about it quite a lot on his podcast from downrange.tv.
He says the current market is being driven by the concealed carry folks, whom he calls gun owners version 2.0.
Folks relatively new to firearms ownership.
Just is case anyone wanted an actual reply to the question, here.

Am I reading that wrong? Didn't say ended with no sale or bids, said sales that did not end with "no sale" or "hardly any bids"
