305Boy /Gotta see this one,a real class act!

Here we go, I will try to make this short and sweet.

5/12/07 305boy places FSN ad to sell or trade a ORF Galil

5/13/07 We agree on a trade, we both agree to will ship on Monday

5/14/07 I ship my end of the trade

5/15/07 He recieves my end of the trade, I recieve nothing

5/16-6/3/07
Summation of excuses and ongoing dialogue by 305 boy, it gets real good so don't laugh.

I will ship whenever I get a chance

Every few days, he says I will ship it out today

Then he says the Galil is actually in Oregon,I lied because I thought you would not do the trade if I told you the truth

Had to advise him of my intentions to get legally involved by way of local law enforcement and my lawyer to get him to realize that he was actually committing mail fraud and firearm theft by accepting my end of the trade and not sending his.

I will do you right because I believe in good Karma

Don't know when I can ship the Galil from Oregon since my kid brother there doesn't drive

I know I owe you the Galil and $400.00, I actually didn't have $400.00, can I pay you $100.00 per week, hard to believe since he places posts saying he has cash available for other purchases

Now, all of a sudden, he says my end of the trade is not working, I say no problem, I will pay for any repairs, he says don't worry it was only $20.00 for the repair

He obviously does not understand the standard 3 day non-firing inspection courtesy.

I let him send me the Galil, a total of $250.00 cash and a few of my items back to call it even

He asks if he can send an extra $15.00 in leui of my sling, I say no, since the sling was $40.00

6/4/07
I end up with the Galil, $250.00 cash, a brand new Otis cleaning kit that is now missing a piece and $15.00 for a $40.00 sling that I told him I needed $40.00 for

I contact him about the $$ difference on the sling and tell him the Otis kit is missing a part

He sends the $25.00 to cover the sling and says a money order is enroute for the missing part from the Otis cleaning kit

In every instance of something missing, not paid for or not being shipped.
I had to be the one to bring it up and had to corner him to make good.

Had to speak to him on an almost daily shedule to keep things on track.

I have never been through such a bad experience like this, uncountable amount of lies and deception, including providing me with invalid tracking number when I ask for a tracking number.

If it was not for 305 boy actually communicating with me, I would have been taken for $1600.00 on my end of the trade, he actually could have just disappeared on me and FSN with my property.

Glad, he finally made the deal right but could have done without all the immature lies, attempts at deception and the dragging out of his end of the deal from 5/15/07 to 6/4/07.

He is obviously is pretty young and unexperienced gun owner who has no clue on how to handle a transaction professionally, hopefully through the grace of god and much needed advice, he will be able to do deals with others here at FSN without putting the other guy through what he put me through.

He sure does seem to come up with a lot of high dollar guns on a regular basis. Must be a lifetime collector selling off his finest, or something like that ... #-o

Another thing to add.

Regardless if this is FSN, or the local Convent. I do NOT do trades at all what so ever with anyone unless it is a FTF transaction.

Another good suggestion is to go heavily armed to any transaction you do over the internet. You never know who is behind the keyboard. For all you know it could be a setup to get robbed.

No, I'm still trying to figure him out.

This transaction was a little shady. On both ends if you ask me.

But then again, I'm programed to look at them from a legal point of view. :-k

Nothing illegal about two Fl residents completing a transaction via common carrier....key word here being completing.

I had a front-row seat to this one, but held my comments until the deal was finally done.

I wouldn't go out on a limb to make any guesses about where he gets his money or firearms, but the fact that

305Boy is an irresponsible punk is an absolute certainty.

Kinda sorta....

When 305boy completed his paperwork (if he did do any paperwork) at the dealer's to receive the firearm (from out of state), he knew he was giving it to someone else. Large margin for question. Dealer didn't know though, but it unfolded right in front of us in public.
So, to look at it from a dealer point of view, it looks a little shady.

Not saying any laws were or would have been intentionally broke, but just looks a little shady.

He can do any FTF transaction he wishes, but when you involve legal paperwork it gets sticky.

Proves my second point.
Only a dumbass would put something up for sale that he doesn't actually posess.

I think Moncrie should post this idiot's true name and address info. Maybe he's finished here, but another username and another site and he's screwing someone else.

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.
