Would you be comfortable with the long barreled 10mm glock 40 MOS with trijicon reflex sight as a sidearm against wolves, or mountain lion?
Bear?
North america region of hiking/ outdoorsy shit
Glock 40 10mm MOS for hiking security
If so, what load or bullet specs would you prefer?
Personally I would go with the g20 as I would want the lighter weight and quicker draw of the shorter length. If the goal was to use it as a hunting weapon then the g40 would be the natural choice.
I agree with the G20 depending on how you are carrying it. It would also be a good h.d. gun. As far as bears go, you might save one for yourself no matter what caliber you get.lol
The G20 with the factory 6 inch hunting barrel with 10mm black talons will do the job on most brown bears. I have one in my den to attest to that fact.
Had a G20 for around 10 years, full power loads hard to find in stores. I have now gone the 44mag route and am not looking back, both are heavy when loaded so the shoulder holster is a good thing to get.
Bear = Underwood or similar ammo.
Yeh id order buffalo bore, underwood or lehigh defense.
Theres arguable conflicting articles on whether the barrel length difference from the 20 to 40 really makes much a difference when it comes to velocity...
But my common sense spider tingle is flickin a lil bit
I read on the internet that Glock is farming out all plastic work to Mattell.
