As far as I know Manatee Gun Club still does but, with the recent 'dust up' in management that may have changed.
Believe nothing the MSM tells you.

Would Okeechobee Shooting Sports count as Central FL? They allow .50 BMG on their Unlimited Rifle Gallery.

Seminole County Gun & Archery Association does allow 50 BMG rifles on the rifle range.
BUT, you have to be a club member, AND you have to go through a special training seminar before you are allowed to shoot 50 BMG.
The special training is nothing really, just do not let rounds go over the burm and do not shoot the gongs.

Well to be honest some place I would be able to get there in 2 - 3 hours drive.. Because taking out the 50 is a special treat and takes a bit to save up for the ammo it would be a special affair for certain get togethers. I liked the Okeechobee Shooting Sports place a lot.. any place that on their web site states "Full-automatic machine guns mounted on bipods or tripods are welcome" they sound good enough for me ..and deserve my money.

Not to put down other ranges, they have their rules and I am sure I have enough guns that will work at closer ranges..

A few years back, I shot a 50 BMG at the Titusville Rifle & Pistol Club west of I-95 off SR 46.
Address: 2299 Gun Club Ln, Titusville, FL 32780
Phone: (321) 268-1312

It wasn't mine so I'm not sure what the hoops/restrictions are. I've only been there on non-members days (Monday).
