He's as vile as the cockroach that ate my last roll of toilet paper dead on the center of the roll completly thru.
He's that, a roll of toilet paper with a hole in the middle. [smilie=042.gif]

1 - No Flaming. This includes personally directed insults, baiting, name-calling, and general antagonism of a personal nature. Posts that are intentionally disrespectful of a Florida Shooters Network member are prohibited. Any harassment or harm, whether intentional or not, of a member will be dealt with harshly. Situations that cannot be handled internally may be referred to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

14 - Political Forum. There is nothing inherently wrong with spirited political debate as long as decorum can be maintained. Because of the higher possibility of conflict, whether intended or not, the staff will be less forgiving for any indiscretions or outright disregard for the above rules which may result from members pushing the envelope.

These personal attacks are going to stop now. I have no compulsion in handing out some long suspensions or even permanent bans if this behavior continues. I also have no problem deleting the entire politcal forum and refusing to allow any future political threads anywhere on FSN if we can't agree to disagree and leave it at that. There's no excuse for bottom feeding behavior just because two people have opposing viewpoints.

many forums have eliminated political sub forums as they found them detrimental to the overall good =:bye
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

If you killed the political issues forum, there are some
members that we would never hear from again.
Hey... maybe that's not a bad idea. :ber

If the political issues forum didn't exist, then wouldn't the political topics/discussions/news just spill over into the general discussions?

At least with the political issues forum, you can easily skip it entirely.

I personally think we should keep the politics section. Its nice to learn different perspectives, IF they're laid our properly.

Agree with keeping political section. Choice to participate or not. Whether we like it or not guns will always be a major component of the political discussion.

I don't get offended so this doesn't affect me so much, but what about going the other direction? A car forum I used to frequent had a politcal forum and it was no holds barred. say what you wanted. Obviously no threats or that sort of thing but if you wanted to call someone an "idiot" or even worse, a "Democrat" have at it.

I think it kind of gave people a place to release and seemed to keep the other forums more calm and controlled.

But dont' get rid of the forum. Like Speed said, it's nice to hear other peoples views and sometimes even learn something. Oh my!

An open, no-holds-barred forum was tried once and will never happen here again.
