There is a reason why Pmag prices have dropped

Postby Wulfmann » Tue Jan 31, 2012 6:52 pm

Pmags are my favorite mags in my PWS and Sig AR/M4 types.

But, they do not work in my FN FS2000 and they do not work in the HK 416/MR556 and the FN SCAR.

So, Magpul is bringing out a replacement for the current 30 round mag called the PMAG 30 M3
This will fit all Colt standard wells as well as the various STANAG guns mentioned.

So, if you do not have anything but the standard AR mag well the now discontinued (albeit unannounced) Pmag may be worth stocking up on.
The new ones will also work fine but do nothing more than the current model for guns that use it.

Just thought I would mention this [smilie=pdt_xtremez_23.gif]

this post is worthless without a link to the cheapest place to buy them [smilie=011.gif]
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

metal mags will distort if stepped on by a fat guy at the range or you drop them on the feed lips on concrete while loaded

you can drive over a Pmag with a tank , pick it up put it in your gun and fire it [smilie=011.gif]

Because they match all the Magpul buttstock and handguard you have or want? [smilie=011.gif]

Bought a bunch from here @11.99 in quantity + shipping - http://www.surplusammo.com/magpul-pmag- ... ine-black/
They are @12.49 each now.

If your order is over $90 here free shipping, they have them @13.00 each - http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/product_p/mag-211.htm

I've ordered from both places and they are prompt and packed well.

all i see are $12 P-Mags and they have been available at that price for a long time if you now where to look.

If a GI mag of metal is 8-10 bucks new, a PMag should be less IMO

May I suggest before the panic hits the magazine department you stock up on at the very least what you know you need and then a few more.

Remember 2008/09 when mags got scarce and went up in price?

It will likely happen again but with this election Bami won't need to run for reelection and anything is possible even an executive order making no further sales of any mags over 10 rounds.

That may not happen but the fact it could is enough for me to have spares now [smilie=pdt_xtremez_23.gif]

I have 4 AR's and only =:wvr 51 mags ( various manuf ), the only guns in my collections that has that beat are the 3 Cetme's....
I have over 100 of the G3 mags for them and probably 15 or so original Cetme mags

I still want some 20 round FDE Pmags for the collection ](*,)
