I thought it was one of the better episodes of recent times. I think perhaps as they build to a conclusion (in March) the quality may be good, but I think a 16 week run next year (which is what I read) could be dubious.

I think this show was pretty good and there was more action. One comment made was that the "city" has a lot more walkers now. Maybe they will get to the farm and they will have to leave soon.

Definitely a better episode then last week. To me it looked like Lori pretty much told Rick that he needed to kill Shane in the closing scene, which that could be cool. (Yes I've heard what happens in the books). I was really happy that they where smart enough to take the guns off the dead guys in the bar. I was screaming at the TV that they better not leave perfectly good guns in there. It does look like they will never leave this stupid farm however. I'm hoping when they send peg leg along his way that he somehow leads the zombies back there so they will have to GTFO.

Also .. Worst farm ever, I have yet to see one damn crop out there! What the heck are they eating?!

I've seen chickens and eggs, and the horses seem to be transportation for now, unless they have a need for a lot of glue.... [smilie=011.gif]
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

lol

They must've made a pretty impressive mannequin clone of that one zombie Rick shot in the mouth. Or used some camera trickery.

Damn near every Protestant church I've ever been into has had a crucifix of one form or the other.

I just finished the first season and am getting caught up on season 2 up to episode 5 so far. Gotta say I enjoy the show. I can see why they didn't take the time to take weapons and ammo from the soldiers, I mean every time they were in the city it was a race for their lives. I really hope Shane gets his nuts chewed off though (haven't read the whole thread for fear of spoilers).

Are you sure you know what a crucifix is--as opposed to a cross? They are not the same thing.

Definitely crucifixes. Not quite as big as the one in that episode though lol. But I will add that most have been "country" churches that could really care less what some corporate religious code book says.

Uh...OK.

I was immersed in baptists for several years--your experience is not mine. At all.

I don't doubt that. My dad was a preacher my entire life, for the most part non-denominational. Our church band that I played in went around to different churches all the time, in many denominations, so I got to kind of see/experience a lot of other churches practices but by no means all. We stayed in the smaller (<50 people) congregations.

Could a skinny man tear out another man's guts with his bare hands? I don't even know if that's physically possible.

Rick's the only one in his whole family that I don't find obnoxious and want to die.

I hope Daryl's pistol getting stolen and lost isn't any indication of something bad happening to him where he might have to rely on his gun that he won't find. He's my favorite character.
