Supreme Court refuses potentially landmark gun-control case

Postby mulletguter » Mon Oct 03, 2011 6:25 pm

A Maryland man appealed to the Supreme Court, arguing that the state's gun-control laws are too restrictive. The case was seen as a potentially pivotal examination of Second Amendment rights, but the Supreme Court refused it.

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it.

The Williams case was no good for us. Watch for Masciandaro v. United States
It's a much better case and I hope the one that SCOTUS will grant cert. on.

Florida Carry may file Amicus on this case.

The SG's response to Masciandaro v. United States is due today according to the SCOTUS website.
Why would you want to give away any of your rights or freedoms? Just because one jack wagon doesn't have an elevator worth Andre 3000 doesn't mean that I should have my privileges taken away.

The Solicitor General had until today to file a response. Masciandaro's petition for cert will probably be decided by SCOTUS on Oct 25th.
