Suggestions for moving front sight

Postby better2have&notneed » Thu Sep 15, 2011 11:34 am

I'm trying to push my front sight over a little and it's not moving. I started out using the Tapco windage/elevation tool with no result. Next was the hammer and punch with some solid hits and it hasn't moved. I have tried on both sides. Any suggestions would be apperciated. Thanks Jason

soak it in some penetrating oil like Kroil over night, ( you don't need to soak the entire sight, just keep applying it )

if that doesn't work maybe a little heat, but not too much, its just a barrel pin, a lot of times they are pressed in
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.
