Slight play in magpul Moe hand guard

Postby Limeybtrd » Fri Dec 30, 2011 1:53 am

Any ideas if this is normal ? It's mounted on my Cmmg upper carbine. The stock hand guard doesn't have any play.

Its normal you could eliminate by paying an extra $40 for the CTR stock

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

id make sure the delta ring and the handguard cap (if you have one) have properly seated the magpul handguard. the bottom part of the magpul can be a pain to seat well depending on the delta ring. is the front cap have little or no play when you have no handguards on? ive seen some front caps be a little extra loose and it requires it to be properly pressed against the gasblock before handguards are reassembled. some people shim the front cap. but that shouldnt be necessary. good luck.
