I had a guy look at my stamped Russian ak (with US receiver, of course) and he said he was holding out to find an original one...as in, original receiver. I tried to explain to him that it was nearly impossible, and it'd cost him 15k to do so, but he didn't listen. Whatever.

Yeah perhaps when I asked for the extra pictures that scared him away. If he comes back I will post the pics, in the mean time though you guys kept me out of being scammed. thanks again.
