Re: Did the laws change?
So you are saying if you have no CWP, but want to buy a new gun, & have an old Saturday night special to trade, you can take the new gun with no wait? GARY.

Re: Did the laws change?
Even funnier are the people who have no CWP, & want to trade in a $50 Jiminez, & leave with the new gun. The "trade in" rule went away decades ago. It's purpose was to show you didn't need a gun to use illegally, since you already had one. GARY

Re: Did the laws change?
There was once a customer who had a CCW since they came out. Bought guns plenty of times. One day, he gets a conditional. Turns out in the mid 80’s, he was stopped on the NJ Tpike, & his car was searched. They do that there near the Deleware Bridge. They found 2 joints of MJ, was arrested, &am...

Re: Did the laws change?
Do you also have to wait if you have a CCW or is that the same? Yes. I had this yesterday. A customer with a CCW got a conditional. She figured a 72 hour wait the most, but the guy in charge of paperwork told her she had to wait until it was approved, no matter how long that took. I wasn’t aware ...

Did the laws change?
For the longest time, if someone received a conditional on the FDLE background check, they could pick up the gun in 72 hours, even if there was no detirmination yet. Of course, if it came back a refusal after the customer picked up the gun, the police would pick up the gun. Now I’m told, with the ...

Re: Mass shooting in Toronto Canada
Just as difficult to buy a gun legally in Canada as in NYC. Seems Toronto is already at 200 shootings in 2018. Toronto has become immigrant heaven the past few years, as their Prime Minister accepts everyone. Also plenty of American gangs moved to Toronto to escape the US justice system, & start...
