Sad News about Glockpacker

Postby arkhangel5 » Wed Mar 09, 2011 8:46 pm

Fellow FSNer's,
It is with regret that I have to inform the forum that Eric(Glockpacker) passed away on Monday the 7th after a long battle with declining health. He was in California visiting his daughter. I have had the honor of meeting and shooting with Eric over the last few years and he will be sorely missed. All I can say is I hope he keeps shooting the X's up there, just as he did down here. RIP Eric.

That is all the info that I have at this time. I figured you guys would want to know.

I'm shocked! RIP Eric.
He must have known, selling everything and making that final trek... it all makes sense now.

Wow I didn't see that one coming. I'm glad he got to travel across the country and be with his daughter for a bit.

Cheers for a good FSN'er. [smilie=cheers1.gif]

That's horrible news. Eric was an awesome human being. I sat with him a couple times in his condo and just shot the shit and even talked a little about his health. He was a very very generous guy. I figured something was up when he was selling everything. May his family and friends find peace in this difficult time and may his soul rest peacefully.

RIP Eric.

I pray that he can now enjoy some serious long range shooting.

Not what I was expecting to hear...

R.I.P. Eric ( It all makes sense now )

He bought a few things from me over the past few years...

It was interesting to see his cross country trek on-line thru FSN...

I remember meeting up a few years back FTF...

He will be missed...

Thanks GP for the PM chats...

Very sad to hear this. I had the pleasure of meeting up with him once for a purchase, and he treated me for dinner and we got to chit chat for a good while. I won't forget him

This is a real shock. After him posting about his trip out to California, this is the last thing one would suspect.
Damn, I feel bad now, and I never even met the guy, but sure enjoyed reading about his long distance competition shoots.
