IMPORTANT - It is the member's responsibility to know and understand this forum's rules. The staff are not babysitters. If your ad or post has disappeared, don't complain to us about it. Read the rules, figure out what you did (or didn't do) and correct it.

Florida Shooters Network reserves the right to edit or remove posts from this forum and in special cases restrict future posting or terminate accounts of individuals that do not comply with FSN rules.

All transactions are the responsibility of the parties involved and in no way is FSN responsible for the transaction or any implied warranty. Use this forum at your own risk and "Buyer Beware"! Please note that ads and posts can only be edited for 30 days from original posting date.

The FSN official rules apply at all times which prohibits discussion or posting of pornographic material, illegal activities or merchandise and misrepresentation.

1 - The B/S/T Forum is for the exclusive use of registered FSN members only. Any member found posting an ad for firearms, or other items, which are not the actual property of the member making the post, may find his or her membership in jeopardy, the ad will be deleted and your account suspended for one (1) week. The poster must be the owner of the item for sale or trade or the buyer of the item wanted. Leeway is allowed for family members and at the staff's discretion.

2 - You must be a registered member for 30 days in order to post any ads and/or comments in the B/S/T forum. If you post prior to the 30 day period, your ad and/or post will be deleted and your account suspended for one (1) week. Repeated infractions may result in your account being terminated.

3 - Your SUBJECT line must include the following or some form of it (in addition to the item) or your ad will be deleted:
WTS (Want To Sell) or
WTB (Want To Buy) or
WTT (Want To Trade).

4 - If your transaction is completed and your original ad can still be edited, make an addition to your ad's SUBJECT line and message accordingly. SOLD or SPF or TRADED or No Longer Available or whatever. Do not make any deletions to the ad itself. If you can't edit the original ad just make an update post.

5 - All B/S/T posters must have their city or county listed in their profile. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of the ad and/or post.

6 – No deletions to the content of any ad (WTS, WTB, WTT, Free) or the SUBJECT line may be made. For the protection of both the seller and the buyer, the ads must remain intact. Failure to do so will result in the following:
1st offense – 2 week’s loss of posting privileges.
2nd offense – Account termination.

7 - If you are changing the price, the original price must not be deleted or the ad will be removed.

8 - NFA items, as well as items that could potentially result in a violation of NFA rules, must be specifically identified to avoid confusion on the part of less knowlegable members. Failure to do so will result in the ad being pulled.

9 - This is not an auction site. All items listed "for sale" must have a price identified in the ad. "Make an offer" or "Best offer gets it" are not acceptable. "$XXX or best offer" is acceptable. Items listed "for trade" aren't required to have a price unless the seller is also open to a sale.

10 - No "bumping" (btt) of your ad within seven days of the last post. The only exception is if you are updating the ad for price, status, etc. Unnecessary bump posts will be deleted without notice. Ads may be pulled without notice for repeated violations.

11 - Always follow the letter of the law. It is your responsibility to confirm the buyer's state of residence, age and if they are legally allowed to own a firearm. Use email & PM to ask specific questions. Do not assume anything.

12 - Do not attempt to belittle the product or the seller or otherwise make inappropriate and/or misleading comments or post comments not related to the specific item in the ad. Such comments, as well as extraneous BS posts, will be deleted and the poster given a 1 week suspension and possible termination for repeated infractions.

13 - The B/S/T Forums are not technical forums. Post your questions or comments in an appropriate forum. They will be deleted from here.

14 - B/S/T ads are only allowed in the B/S/T sub-forums. Ads posted anywhere else will be deleted and the poster may be temporarily suspended.

15 - "Testing The Waters" - Don't waste our time posting stuff for sale/trade and/or wanting to buy if you don't intend to follow through with it. Your "ad" will be deleted.

16 - Absolutely no links in posts to any "pay for use" sites (eg; Gun Broker, Guns America, Ebay, Guns International, etc). FSN provides our exchange forums at no cost to the members. We aren't going to support a pay site when we get nothing out of it. Posts with such links will be deleted.
