I'm looking really hard at a smith and wesson m&P 15 piston carbine from Florida Gun Exchange for $969. I've never owned a piston AR before and truth be told I don't really care if its gas or piston. The reason I want the rifle is its a complete flat top for my Eotech and the length is what i want. Anybody own one of these or have any thoughts or opinions on it?

Wow, much better deal from Buds, they have it for $839, stil cheaper with FFL added in price.

Save your money and get an LWRC, POF, or PDW if u going piston gun.

I actually went ahead and ordered a Stag arms model 8 piston carbine instead.
