I've had and shot this Smith Corona M1903A3 (10-43) since 1978. It originally had the normal stright grip (S) stock. I just recently restocked it with a CMP pistol grip (C) stock . It's much more pleasant to shoot now.

My preface for shooting fun would be; First, Garand Next, 03A3 and Last the Springfield 03. The M1 is more fun by a long shot (no pun intended). Like other has pointed out the sights are better on the 03A3. Also, I feel the Model of 1917 is more fun to shot than the other two bolt actions. The Model of 1917 will hold 6 rounds in the magazine so less reloading. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_13.gif]

I prefer my Enfields, but really want to add an 03 to my safe as well as a Garand one year
