New scope on my Remy 5R. What a difference

Postby macgyver » Sat Jul 23, 2011 11:14 pm

Picked up a new scope for my Remy 5R. I got the Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 FFP. Upgraded from a Millett TRS-1. Big thanks to Spencer at SWUB Tactical for getting the scope to me quickly and at a great price.

Hit up the range the other day to get it sighted in and WOW I love this scope. Glass is super clear and love the turrets. Now for the pics

Here's the rig

And here's what it's capable of with me at the trigger. 5 shot groups at 100 yards on 12x magnification. Granted 100yds isn't long at all, but a trip to manatee is in the works for next month.

Very nice!

And more good news, you are measuring from the outside edges of the holes. You should measure center-to-center.

223 caliber? So just subtract .223 " from your existing measurements.

Your last group is then: .73" - .22" = .51"
When do I get some stimulation in this economy??

I have the same scope and you are right. For the money you can't beat this scope. The glass is as clear as my luppy scope.

Bushnell is making some excellent scopes. I have their new HDMR scope with the H59... Insane quality. Glass and build.

My few army sniper buddies LOVE the Horus. Their personal rifles all have Horus on them. They got jealous when they found out I was one of the first to play with the new H59
