Ok so the way i read this is that the money is held until the buyer enters XYZ info upon reciept. So what keeps the buyer from making false claims about conditon and such and thus trying to keep the money and the item? What is your dispute resolution plan?

that is something we will work on , good question and something for us to ponder. I am thinking since this is a credit card based system right now , we could involve the CC companies and lock out the buyer until a resolution is reached. The Buyer will have to show proof of say Damage or the wrong item , this if this is not done I am thinking the charges could be reversed . Again this is something we will work on, I already sent your question to my partner who will let me know what he thinks a way to handle something like this should go. there is nothing in stone yet.

What is your involvement with this project? Are you creating the website or something?

It was my idea and I am developing it with a partner.

@ Poloboy. I did some thinking. About your question. When both parties agree on the sale and the item is shipped tracked and arrives. The buyer confirms he either did or did not get the item as described. Once he confirms he is happy the funds will be released by us. If he doesn't like the item the once he generates another tracking number and sends it back upon its satisfactory return again we will release the funds. I hope this answers your question.

An on-line payment system with escrow-like services is way overdue. I would definitely pay extra for this type of transaction, and this should definitely be something that could go far beyond firearm transactions if done properly.

You are right on point at what we want to achieve. We are looking past firearms at other avenues too
