Need help with an AR paint job

Postby Gregh181 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 11:23 pm

I can't remember who it is on here that was doing it, but I wanna get my AR painted, it's plain and black and I wanna go for some kind of camo pattern. Anybody be able to point me in the right direction?

you know, I never did get to take a photo of that one. If you have a chance at some point, I'd love to get a couple.

I wanna be "that guy" and say do it yourself!

The hardest part in painting a gun is the prep work. Go slow degreasing the gun, tape off that you don't want painted, and go to down. I always use a base tan coat, than I add the template and colors.
