Below is one of my Valmets. I like the Valmet M76 the best.
This example is in .223 and is a superb shooter and very accurate.
I think the Valmet and Galil were THE best AK type rifles made

Here is my first SKS. I just removed all the cosmoline from the metal,
and got most of it off the stock. Have to try the steam method,
(when the girlfriend isnt around, she doesnt know yet)
one day when I have a little more time.

I got it about a year ago, oven cleanered the wood, brake cleaned the metal and put the metal to soak in a big batch of Ed's Red. Then forgot all about it.

About a week ago I started putting coats of Tung Oil on it and put the whole thing back together yesterday.
