Thinking about a semi auto .22 magnum for fun and some hunting applications. Looking for feedback on brands and models in a less expensive range. Just curious as to what anyone or everyone thinks I could do with it. Possibly a tactical gun too.

Find the Ruger semi if you can, it would be worth it.

If u have to have the semi the best choice IMO is the Ruger, But my personal fav. is my Marlin 983t(tube fed, bolt action) it has a heavy barrel and is DEADLY accurate... Not to mention u wont break the bank with it either(under 300 brand new). I also have a Henry 22mag that never leaves its spot behind the seat of my truck
