Postby quinnclark » Mon Oct 03, 2011 10:17 pm

I am looking for someone in the Orlando area who can change the flqash hider on an Australian L1A1 for me. Has a belgian style flash hider, want to put a standard L1A1 on it. Thanks for any suggestions.

They are normally soldered on. If that's the case you will need a torch.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Quinn-

Research and verify this on inch-pattern rifles, but on metric builds the muzzle threads are REVERSE. I built a couple years ago and I needed a beefy bench-vice, a torch to heat the muzzle device and a large pipe wrench to unscrew the device- CLOCKWISE.

If your not back in 3 weeks, we're dividing up your gear. It sucks, but thats the way it works around here.
