After finger banging it for a few hours I put the rifle away.
Yesterday I took it to the range. The second I took the rifle out of the bag and put it on my table, people started looking. It looked like an Authentic Russian AK74. After a few minutes, I got my targets up and started sighting in. Within 10 shots I was on target at 25 yards. Groups were very tiny, with the majority of the hits touching.
Next relay, I took the target out to 50 yards to fine tune. Normally, if you are sighted in at 50, you are also close to zero'd at 200. Close enough to get a kill shot without having to compensate.

Once I was happy with the dial in, I took it out to 100 yards just to mess around with it. I was perfectly sighted and all 30 of my shots were within a 6 inch diameter Shoot N C target. I was ecstatic. Just to confirm the re-zero ability, I took the scope off, fired a few shots and put it back on. Was dead on.
All in all, this is $300 well spent. May get another one for my next AK project.
