Jan 29th zombie shoot at WAC

Postby kmagnuss » Sat Jan 14, 2012 10:39 pm

Alright... you guys got me hooked on this crap. Who's gonna come out and show me how it's done?

Sunday January 29th at 10 am, WAC (Wyoming Antelope Club) which is around the St. Pete area.

$15 for non ZSA (zombie shooters association), $10 if you're a member. (dork)

If I can get a pass from the boss lady I'm in. I'll be gone the whole day before at an RO class, so it's kinda iffy. And yes, I'd actually get up for this one. [smilie=back.gif]

How many stages/rounds fired? Do you have a list of rules? Is it IPSC or IDPA based?

Welcome to WAC Action Shooting

Zombie Shooters Match - Jan 29th (5th Sunday)

Zombie Shooters Association Match Jan 29th (5th Sunday) at the Wyoming Antelope Club. Sign up at 9:30 am and briefing at 10 am

Fee $10 for members and $15 for non members (of the WAC)

It is $10 to join the ZSA. It's not mandatory but if you want your body count tracked you must be a member. Applications will be at the match.

Here is a link to their sight:

http://zombieshootersassociation.com/

Here are the rules:

http://zombieshootersassociation.com/ru ... t-shootin/

The match will be 5 stages at about 150 rounds.

Any questions: email cliffwalsh@verizon.net

I assume it's pistol only... but I guess somebody needs to email the guy to figure it out for sure. I think this shoot is a late addition to the schedule since it's not even on the zsa website yet.

The calender at www.antelopeclub.org is basically a copy over from the board meetings. It lets people know which ranges are reserved more so than anything. The Range opens to RSO at 8am so they have to reserve it from that time forward. Also their will be a few people out that that early setting up the range. The Match will begine sometime after 10am and the information that Kmag posted is 100% correct

How come they don't use Zombie targets?
The web site videos and pics all show idpa, uspsa type targets.
Geeze.
There' oughta' be really nasty looking zombies, and zombie victims with big bites outta' them, not plain ole' cardboard targets.

My A game consists of:
A- be safe
B- don't come in last place
3- don't blow out my knee

If all 3 of those happen I'm a happy camper.

you should add "get better gas mileage on the way home due to weight savings from all the ammo I shot" to the list. So far, I've successfully done that one at every match I've ever attended.

you should slow your fire, and not mg the target you get better hits that way... and you use less ammo..... [smilie=011.gif]
