is it hard to install a side scope rail?

Is it hard to install a side scope rail on an AK variant? is it as simple as just drilling and riviting? Do the rivets for the scope rail use the same tool as rivets for a regular build? I've got 2 AK's that don't have scope rails that i want to put them on. 1 is a Romy G build, so i'm not as concerned with the apprearance, but the other is a brand new Arsenal SLR-107 i just got, and don't want to screw up.

This is what i would be buying and trying to install:

If i don't go the rail route i'd do an Ultimak on the Arsenal and a $40 beryl-copy on the Romy G. I just wanted to have a rail on the Arsenal because the left side folder has the cut-out for it, and it looks weird without it there, and on the Romy G i would like to not have to remove the wood furniture.

I have both those mounts already on other guns and am happy with them

I riveted one on my Arsenal 105 . I used a long rivet jig W/ spacer made of 2 nuts for support in the middle of the forked trunion and the flat rivet head former for the rear rivet. Bolt cutter rivet tool for the front rivet and a modified "C" clamp for the middle rivet. Just take your time and check alignment with top of rail, must be parallel to top of receiver. I have a post with pics a few topics below this.
