Depends on what your talking about, but yes many of us do. Though one of my most accurate guns is a stock T/C Benchmark semi .22, oh is it nice. That said I am sure there are many bolt actions that are much more accurate with their 8oz triggers.

Oh my Ruger 10/22 with it's up graded trigger is pretty damn accurate too.

The question you have to ask yourself, how much do you really have to spend.

Define how accurate a little more specific. MOA?
action type bolt or semi?

There is nothing that can't be ruined in 10 seconds or less using a Dremmel with proper attachment.

I'm thinking bolt action, good to about 150-200Y, around $750-800 including scope.

17HMR would be a better option IMHO.

Saw one of these at the local gunshop yesterday. .17HMR, looked like a scaled-down .50cal. If I recall correctly, was less than $350 out the door delivered.

I'm not a big fan of a muzzle brake like that on a smallbore, but it was cute.

That's a nice looking little gun. As you say, the muzzle brake is absurd since recoil would be trivial. I assume the scope is a cheapie that would have to be replaced.

I believe it's a Simmons, the one I saw had pretty clear glass. It's not a 1000 yard gun, so at .17hmr ranges it should be fine. There's another one listed on the site with a lower power scope for about $60 less.

While 200 yard shots with a .22 really isn't a repeatable activity especially if Mother Nature is up to any of her tricks though fun trying, we are now talking two completely different animals. The ammo cost alone for the 17 might make me pause if I was planning on extensive shooting. The 17 is a pretty badass tiny critter controller though, but every home should have a .22 of sorts.
