So if we arent a Police State, what do we call our situation-

We can be detained indefinately by the government, w/ no legal representation in violation of the BoR and by the US Military on US Soil(NDAA 12)

We are searched w/o warrants or cause at our Airports and Subways and Heavily Armed Police Patrol our trains etc as well as detained for no cause at checkpoints on our roads

The Government, be it local or otherwise, are throwing up cameras as fast as they can at our intersections, and public events as well as the feds authorizing various sattelites and Drones to overwatch us in the US

Our Police are resembling the Military in mentality, tactics, dress and equipment

Our Phone conversations and internet traffic are recorded and reviewed by the NSA etc

The USA PATRIOT ACT authorized Secret Courts, Secret Warrants and Secret Trials

There is a Combat Unit Stationed on US Soil whos sole mission is responding to civil unrest, or other emergencies in the US

That damn sure doesnt sound like 'NOT a Police State'

I retired 11 years ago and I can tell you it's a different breed out ther now . I'm glad I don't have to work with them!!
