Hi from Tampa

Postby Rugerchic » Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:01 pm

hi everyone! I am a newbie to the forums. My husband, and son also enjoy shooting. I have a couple Rugers and a Browning. All .22. I shoot at the indoor ranges. My son enjoys Jr League at the Lakeland gun range. They have an excellent program for youth. He is 15. We teach him safety and pistol shooting, then he gets his rifle training outdoors with the very experienced instructors who are patient, and professional veteran members. I love that Straight Shoot let's ladies shoot free on Mondays! Besides shooting, I like cooking, sewing, walking, hanging with my cats and dog, watching movies and tv. Just discovered Reno 911 on Netflicks -hysterical.

Hi there and welcome to FSN.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Welcome mom, wife and shooter fan. /:f There is so much aging and overweight testosterone here, that a breath of fresh estrogen is welcome and long overdue. Of course Pam is the queen bee, but I'm sure she would welcome a wing-man(woman) :ber

Welcome to the show.

You shooting at the Tampa or Lakeland Shoot Straight? My wife and I are at the Lakeland SS on a weekly basis. _:
There is an undeniable cultural difference. It's the difference in the mindset of those who believe they are owed a living, and those who believe success is the result of hard work.

Oh great, just what we need is more women with guns! #-o

(Just kidding, and I mostly said that to get Pam riled up. I'm sure she'll smack me down shortly. [smilie=011.gif] )

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
