Great idea, but I'd like to add one suggestion if I may:

Can you have your staff transmit legible FFL's? I had someone email an illegible license - and when I said I needed one that one can print out and actually read, I got the same license again that is 33kb and too blurry to print.

Not trying to dump on you, just if you get a flood of transfer requests this will be less work if you have a legible license to transmit.

Thanks for the feedback we have a pdf file on the website for each ffl but the image on the site small to keep the website running fast. If you ever need a better one just ask.

Great deal Tim.

Done a few transfers with Tim. Everything went smoothly. Ordering a gun from Bud's Gun Shop in the near future and it will be shipped to Tim's shop also.

Be sure to buy something while you're there getting your free transfers.

Whenever my local pawn/gun shop is doing my call in, I browse around and look at the tools and what not. Never left without finding a killer deal on some tools I didn't know I needed. I friggin love pawn shops with good prices. =:e

I assume you mean out of state transfers or new guns, right?

Instate transfers don't go through FFL's.

I was wondering about that too.
How would they be in the BST from another state?

Its for people that would not want to just ship the rifle to some unknown person or someone that wants a BOS so they want to keep it FTF. If the buyer is close to one of Tims shops a seller with these issues or many others could ship it to Tim and the only additional cost to the buyer would be $5

Very admirable of him to offer this if you ask me and a very helpful service for some

picked up my gun from Big Tim's yesterday, I took him a large sweet Tea, but he wasn't in so I drank it [smilie=011.gif]

very smooth transaction, he even kept it warm in his safe till I could get back there to pic it up [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif]
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

Fwiw, I spent about ten minutes each on the phone with both Tim and his other salesman at the second store today----nicest guys in the world, know their $hyt, full of good info and hot tips on the idiosyncrosies of Florida gun laws. In fact I enjoyed talking to them so much that I just set up & organized shipping four different guns over to his place (from three different sellers across the country)---and I don't even live in your state yet.......
