No kidding... my first two NFA transfers only took 60 days (in 2008).

Seven days for a form 4? How long ago was that?

It must have been the first one ever #-o and it's been all down hill from there. ](*,)

I don't have exact dates but can report the following

Form 4 Trust x 2
Lamberger
Checks Cashed c. 8/30
Pending c. 9/15
Approved c. 2/25

These were, by far, the longest wait times I have experienced so far.

I am currently going through my first NFA purchase and I'm kinda getting nervous.
I purchased a Silencerco SS Sparrow from a local shop. Filled out the Form 4 and included a copy of my trust and check on 2/24/12 (Friday). Assuming it was mailed out between 2/24/2012 and Monday (2/27/12). Shop said it sent it out with delivery confirmation, and said the ATF received it 3/2/12 (Thursday). Up until now (3/23/12) the check still hasn't cleared. Based on other's timelines, the check clears pretty much a few days after the ATF receives the packet. Should I be concerned or am I just getting worked up over nothing?

Thanks,
Jeff

You didn't send the Form 4, you let the gun shop do it?

Probably just getting worked up, but you've still got another 6-7 months to wait :ham'r

Correct, anything wrong with that? I have no reason to think they wouldn't send it out.
