FNG in Pensacola

Postby Jarhead05 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 8:14 pm

Hi

I'm new to this network but not to shooting. Retired Marine, former WA State Patrol CommO, 17 year gun lobbyist (register lobbyists, not guns), NRA certified instructor and legislative director of the FL Sport Shooting Assn.

Florida resident for just over four years, learning fast. Spent the previous 15 years in Washington, a shall-issue state since 1961, with several gun laws far ahead of Florida. And a couple that are backwards!

Got my first FFL in 1965 when I was a 19 y/o Marine Pfc, back when FFLs were $1/year, and issued on the spot. I couldn't legally buy a handgun at retail, but I could take delivery of a truckload from factories or distributors! I currently hold a C&R license.

Assuming you mean Mobile Bay, I'm also a member of Gulf Coast Gun Collectors Assn and AL R&P Assn. I belong to Pensacola R&P Club, but shoot at Styx occasionally, too.

Nope, the "other bay" (Escambia). I am in South Santa Rosa County. I am also a member of PRPC. We might have been out there together sometime!

Well, you know the rule. As long as you only feel ONE hand on your shoulder during the rectal exam, it is still OK. [smilie=011.gif]
